"I began climbing at Devil's Lake State Park when I was 5 years old. I didn't realize at the time this would launch a now 25 year engagement with the sport. After living in California for 9 years I moved back to Wisconsin. I was just blown away by Devil's Lake. It was the best quality rock I had really ever climbed on. After several years I had established hundreds of new boulder problems in the area and documented around 900 problems at Devil's Lake! What an exciting and memorable time! I am proud to be involved in the development of the largest and most historical climbing area in the Midwest."
