What a beautifully and thoughtfully prepared hiking book. Everything about it makes it a joy to use: the way it's divided into geographic regions; the clear identification as which trails are easy, medium, and difficult; and the fantastic maps that have just the right amount of important detail without being too cluttered. Perhaps the thing I like best is that each hike is fully described in two facing pages, so you can take a photo of the hike you want to do and have all the information you need right at your finger tips. Genius idea! Thank you, Bill, for all your hard work. This is an awesome hiking resource for everyone who wants to explore the Southern Berkshires (and just beyond).
